The name Ella Wick was inspired by my beautiful niece Siena, a constant reminder of the joy and warmth that the scent of happiness can bring. Siena has Tetrasomy 18p, a rare genetic disorder. Though she cannot say my name, she lovingly calls me "Ella."

Our candles are designed for longevity, offering up to 8 hours of burn time with each use. They are clean-burning and hand-poured in Sydney to maintain the highest quality standards. Every candle is carefully handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a high-quality product that burns cleanly and evenly. Our candles are crafted with care, using non-toxic coconut & soy wax, infused with Phthalate free high-quality premium grade fragrances, natural, and/or essential oils, each candle offers a truly indulgent & eco-conscious experience. Our candles are free from toxic additives, using only cotton wicks.

RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
We are committed to eco-friendly practices and prioritize using recyclable packaging for both new and repurposed materials. To ensure your candle arrives safely, we make use of all available packaging materials, which may result in extra stuffing in your shipment. Our goal is to prevent any damage during transit, as no one wants a broken candle. Thank you for understanding and supporting our efforts to reduce waste.

TIPS, TRICKS & CANDLE CARE

Here are few tips to a successful burn:
To enjoy your Ella Wick Candle to its fullest, allow the wax to melt completely across the top of the container during each burn. This “full melt pool” prevents memory rings and ensures an even burn, usually taking around 4 - 5 hours. Always trim the wick to 5mm before relighting. Our large, 580 g long-burning candles are designed to safely burn for up to 5 hours at a time. If you want to burn your candle for longer, up to 8 hours - trimming the wick ensures a cleaner, safer burn and allows you to fully enjoy the fragrance and beauty of your candle from the first burn until the last. 

If you only have 3 - 4 hours, you may notice a small wax residue around the sides - this will melt down naturally as you continue to enjoy the candle. It is really important to CLEAN YOUR WICKS before you burn and if you intend on burning all day long, you may want to trim during the burn.  No one likes a dirty wick!

Where you place your candle greatly affects its burn. For an even, safe flame, avoid placing candles near windows, in draughts or where wind can reach them. The lid is designed to protect your surfaces. You can place the candle on top of the lid if your furniture is not heatproof, ensuring both a safe and elegant burn.

As your candle nears the bottom, you may notice a slight production of soot. This occurs because the flame has less access to oxygen when the wax level is low, please ensure you clean the wick to reduce this.  Always leave at least 1cm of wax and return your vessel for a refill and $5 off your next purchase.
